KJ52

KJ52 is great; he is like the Christian version of Eminem. Now you can listen to the same style of hip-hop that you used to, but without polluting your mind! Don't worry, KJ is hilarious too.

Pillar

I know there are a lot of you out there that already know of Pillar, but I just couldn't overlook this band. This hard rock driven quartet has cranked out five full length albums so far and it doesn't look like they are slowing down anytime soon.

Lead singer, Rob Beckley, is certainly not afraid to sing about Jesus and that is what I love most about this band. There seems to be a lot of problems with the harder Christian music I hear; they want to proclaim their faith, but they still want to appeal to the mainstream secular crowd. This is not the case with Pillar they certainly are unashamed and they most definately rock!

God Tube

A friend of ours sent us a video from this website the other day and I thought it would be a good idea to recommend it on here. There are a lot of great bands and artists on God Tube too, so if you find one you like please leave a comment and share it with me.

An Alternative to Alternative

Two Thirty Eight

Now here is an alternative rock band that has, in the recent years, made a name for themselves. Just listen to these three songs on the Purevolume link below and decide for yourselves. Their truly infectious melodies will leave you with no choice but to sing along!

The first two songs are off their re-released album "You Should Be Living", that was released in October of 2002. The third song was off their first release. Keep an eye out for their new album. It should be hitting shelves by late July, 2008.

Much props for "Modern Day Prayer"!

Welcome

This is my very first blog, so everyone please hold on tight and bear with me.

As you may have already guessed, this blog is designed to help Christians and Non-Christians alike find uplifting Christian music that really rocks!

If anyone has any feedback or ideas, I would love to hear them.

Just to kick things off, I would like to recommend a Hip Hop group by the name of 116 Clique. There name is derived from scripture and it is how I was inspired to name my blog.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Check them out and let me know what you think.
